    Barcode Artwork Verification - Tuesday, February 21, 2006
    You may be confused by the latest requests for Barcode Verification reports from your trading partners for the products you sell or for labels you print . Compliance to GS1 barcode standards was mandated by retailers to be in place by October 2005. After successfully conducting over 1500 barcode verifications and scannability reports to date, artwork problems are predominately the causes of non-compliance to GS1 Barcode Standards. To assist with the compliance of artwork to GS1 barcode specifications, we have launched a new service whereby an email containing a PDF or JPG of the artwork is emailed to us for scrutiny and assessment . By doing this you will have a higher confidence that the barcode on the packaging will conform to GS1 specifications prior to commencing any printing or production of labels.
